Overview of LayerZero's OFT Standard:
The Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) Standard (opens in a new tab) enables fungible tokens to exist across multiple blockchains while maintaining a unified supply. The OFT standard works by debiting an amount of tokens from a sender on the source chain and crediting the same amount of tokens to a receiver on the destination chain. $APE, the native gas currency of ApeChain network, is deployed across multiple blockchains using LayerZero's OFT standard. At the moment, the $APE OFT token is available on the following networks:
